In 1998 D3 Tec opened its first office in Lanham, MD focusing on Copiers for Businesses with the most demanding needs. By 2004 D3 Tec offered every major manufacturer of commercial copier for business and had grown to 3 showrooms with locations in Lanham, Silver Spring, & Rockville, Maryland.  By 2008 D3 Tec expanded its presence into Virginia with locations in Alexandria, Arlington, and Tysons Corner, Virginia.
